The devastating 1.12.2010 earthquake that leveled Port-au-Prince left close to 5,000 people with severe crush wounds that necessitated emergency amputations. NYDG Foundation in collaboration with
Hanger Ivan R. Sabel Foundation provided prosthetic limbs to hundreds of haitian amputees.
NYDG continues efforts to improve the quality of life providing cars so they can get to school and to work.
