Our programs support children and youth to eradicate preventable skin diseases and advance best practices in global skin health.

We identify regions in most need of our services and partner with local organizations to design and deliver our skin health projects. We work in 4 strategic pillars: awareness, education, prevention, & treatment.

OUR PROGRAMS

TELEDERMATOLOGY

NYDG Foundation dermatologists Dr. David Colbert and Dr. Jessica Weiser joined NYDG Foundation Director Stephan Bognar, to review the case files of the 15 students with Albinism the Foundation supports in northern Rwanda. During our live teledermatology clinic we performed visual skin cancer screenings on our students with albinism.

SHADE UP! BRAZIL (ENGLISH)

In partnership with hospital De Aamor Barretos (Hospital De Câncer De Barretos) located in the state of São Paulo, and the Brazilian Department of Education of São Paulo, NYDG Foundation launches Shade Up! Brazil, its signature skin cancer prevention program for kids to stay active and healthy under the sun.
